We held our first open meeting in November which was attended by approximately 70 members. It was good to see so many people again after such a long break.
Trip Wire organise trips and holidays, these are run by two members, Catherine Crocker and Beryl Lloyd. Their aim is to arrange outings and theatre trips to suit all the members of Braunton and District u3a.

Trip to War Horse Museum
Our trip to the War Horse museum was a lovely day out, learning the history and how Michael found the inspiration to write 'War Horse'. We were also introduced to all the animals at the park, including turkeys, ducks, donkeys, goats, alpacas, emus, horses, geese, and sheep. We also had a trailer ride around the farm and finished up with tea in their lovely tearoom.
